Hanuman Temple - Karmanghat

Karmanghat Hanuman Temple is located at Karmanghat, closer to Sagar Ring Road, it is a temple of Lord Hanuman. It is one of the oldest and most famous temples in the city.

This temple was built in 11th century A.D (approximately 1143).The temple is now spread over 3 acres. It also has a one-acre pond.

Karmanghat means make your heart strong.Through several centuries, the Karmanghat Hanuman Temple has stood the test of natural calamities and religious fanatics. Hanuman followers across the globe have utmost faith in the temple and it draws thousands of people every day. 

Presiding Diety :

Sri Dhyananjaneya Swamy, other deities are Sri Rama and Sri Siva Besides Ganapathi, Santoshi Mata, Saraswathi Devi, Durga Mata, Venugopala Swamy and Jagannadha Swamy.

 All festivals are celebrated in this temple with great devotion,it is also famous for hanuman jayanthi celebrations .

Daily 6:00 AM to 12:00PM and 4:00 to 8:00PM.

 On Tuesdays and Saturdays – 5:30 AM to 1.00 PM and 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM
