Eruvaka Purnima

This is a special festival celebrated mainly by the farmers and agriculturists in the state of andhra pradesh. It falls on the full moon day in the month of Ashadha. The farmers decorate their cattle’s with garlands and offer special treatment as the thanks giving ceremony .Also offers Puja to the sample of seeds also known as Navadhanya and agricultural implements. After this they pray to the almighty for a good harvest This festival is totally dedicated to the agriculture as the farmers depends upon the type of harvest so a good harvesting is necessary and they treat agriculture as their baby in the cradle.
