The famous hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara has been visited by over 2.26crore pilgrims in the year 2014. Some excerpts of 2014 from January 1 to December 30:

Total Laddus issued to pilgrims-8,98,16,666
Total number of sevakulu who rendered service-97,036 (Female-69,161; Male-27,875)
Total tonsures-1,15,42,107.
