Hanuman Vratham

Devotees of Lord Hanuman would observe the Hanumad Vrat on the thirteenth day of the waxing phase of the moon in the month of Margsira or Sukla Paksha Trayodasi of Margasira Masam.It is mostly observed in Southern india.

All the persons in the family can observe this vrat. Early in the morning all the house hold must be cleaned . After taking bath Pooja is performed to lord Hanuman with sincere devotion.During Puja Hanuman chalisha, Sundarakanda, Hanuman Astotharam, Hanuman mantras can be recited, Naivedyam is offered to god.After that Prasadam must be distributed.

This vrat was performed by Draupadi. This Vrat was narrated to Dharmaraja by Veda Vyasa and eventually Draupadi performed it.

By observing this vrat they would be blessed with good health, wealth, prosperity and they also free from all  types of fears phobias etc.
