The sub-temple for Sri Yoga Narasimhaswami, facing the west, is
located in a mandapam in the north-eastern corner of the
firstprakaram. Yoga Narasimhaswami is also known as Girija Narasimhaswami.

Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple - Penchalakona
Penchalakona village is located in Rapur mandal of Nellore district in Andhra

Sita Navami
Sita Navami, also known as ‘Sita Jayanti’ or
‘Janaki Navami’ is an important Hindu observance that is dedicated to Goddess
Sita, who was married to Lord Rama. This day celebrates the birth day of Devi
Sita and is observed on the ‘Shukla Paksha’ (the waxing phase of moon) ‘Navami’
(9th day) tithi in the lunar month of ‘Vaishaka’ as per the Hindu calendar. It
is believed that Devi Sita was born during Pushya Nakshatra. As per the
legends, Lord Rama was also born on the same tithi in the ‘Chaitra’ month and the
celebrations of Rama Navami take place a month in advance of Sita Navami.
Married Hindu women devotedly worship Goddess Sita on this day and ash Her
blessings for long life and success of their husbands. Sita Navami is
celebrated with immense fervour and gaiety all over India.

Ashada Navratri 2017 Dates
Ashadha Gupta Navratri is an auspicious 9-day
observance that is dedicated to worshipping nine different forms of Goddess
Shakti or Durga. It is one of the important festivities observed by Hindus with
utmost devotion and enthusiasm. Ashadha Navratri is observed from the
‘Pratipada’ (1st day) till the ‘Navami’ (9th day) of the Shukla Paksha (the
waxing phase of moon) in the ‘Ashadha’ month of the traditional Hindu calendar.
Sabarimala festival and Vishu- Temple will open continuosly for 15 days
For the Meenam-Uthram festival and Meda Vishu, the Sabarimala Shri Dharmasastha Temple will open on April 3rd,Thursday 5.30 pm and close on 18th April, Friday at night 10.00 pm following 15 days. The ceremonial flag hoisting will be held on April 4th Friday morning between 10.15 and 10.30. Pallivetta will be held on April 12th night. The 10 day festival ends on April 13 with the Arattu ceremony at Pamba. Commonly temple was closed on that day but temple is open for meda vishu celebration on April 10.So the temple will closed on April 18 after the vishu.
Vaishakh Month 2017.
Vaishakha is the second month in the traditional
Hindu lunar calender.It is one of auspicious month for hindus. This month is
dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
It is believed that taking bath in Holy Rivers and Sacred teerths on the day will help in redemption of sins. Chaitra
Ashtami is observed on on the Shukla
Paksha Ashtami or the eighth day during the waxing phase of moon in Chaitra
Month (March – April). It is one of the important festival for hindus.
In bengal it is celebrated as Basanti Puja. Goddess Annapurna is worshiped on this day.It is also known as Ashokasthami in orissa. Special Pujas will take place in Lingaraj swamy temple.
Many Devotees observe fast on this day and visit temples and offer special prayers to Goddess.
